Ohhh how I LOVE books!! The smell of paper, flipping through the pages, submerging myself into a good story, and reading aloud to my kids. I have to admit that the more we read the more we’ve become more exigent with our picks. I’ve been using the Goodreads site for over a year now… I wasn’t planning to add another social media to my life, but I like it because I can keep track of what I read for myself and what I read aloud to my children. And this is how I use it basically. And I’ve been amazed about how much we/I read in the last (almost) 2 years! This happen to me often: if I don’t write or keep track of things, I have the feeling that I haven’t done it. So when I look at this website and I actually SEE all the covers of the books we’ve started and finished, I’m very impressed! I think I’ve read more now that I’m a homeschool mom than when I was a student. And I love it! I love reading the classics and the books I would have LOVED to read when I was younger. I love this second chance God gives me. It’s a gift. And I receive it as it is. And another proof that it’s never too late if you want to do something or learn something or know something…
